Auto stuff

I had an idea for auto related only page because I’m hoping it will help some of you with your car related issues.  I work with a coworker who struggles to get work done on her car, she can’t get work done without being hit on.  This puts her at very uncomfortable situation.  On one hand she wants to get quality work done on the car, but at the same time she can’t be too rude where they now think she is a b**ch.  For as much repair her car needs, she really should be dating an auto mechanic…lol.  Anyway, I do help her troubleshoot her car and give her some advice on what to expect.  She says it’s helpful because having the knowledge helps her out during the repair consultation.  I figure if it can help her, why not help everybody else, too.  And, of course, if you have any question regarding your car please drop me a line.

As some of you may know, I love cars.  My first car was a $500 Nissan Pulsar back in the 90’s and, 12 cars later, my most recent purchase is F150 with 200k miles that I picked up for $2000.  I’ve pretty much performed every auto repair imaginable, from simple oil change to complex engine overhaul.  My garage tools and equipment is probably valued at over $50k. I really don’t know exactly what I’ll start with, but it’s going to be something easy, basic, DIY items that can save $100s to $1000s dollars.
